In one of the most beautiful islands of the Mediterranean and on the month of March, the Formentera All Round Trail takes place.
A race of 74 kilometres route that goes around all the Formentera coast, with departure and arrival at the Port of La Savina.
It is deceptive!! Despite not having a great ground level difference, the constant change of terrain makes it a very demanding race that involves a great physical shape and previous training.
Parallel to this race, another two races are held for fans of this sport that combines running and nature. With fewer kilometres, but still very hard, you have to be well trained to enjoy them.
The Half Round Formentera Trail, which consists of 40.5 kilometres, departs from Es Arenals. And with 21 kilometres of route, the Tros de Fart has its departure from Es Caló.
These two races, together with the All Round Trail share the same finish, and the runners of the different races arrive interspersed.
It is a very exciting moment, in which the runners are only distinguished by the colour of their dorsals. The sweat, fatigue and the immeasurable joy of crossing the finish line are shared by all.
Run, excel and enjoy in paradise
Whether you already know the island of Formentera, or if you have never been here, this race will be a real discovery. You will never see the island again with the same eyes!
If anything describes this race it is the incomparable beauty of its surroundings. The itinerary, marked with a white and red ribbon, will take you through roads, forests, trails, mountains and beaches.
You will see picture-perfect places and some turquoise, green and blue colours that will force you to stop, to observe for a few seconds and save them in your memory.
Seven years of competition
This edition will be the seventh and will take place next March 8th. If you are looking forward to participating, you are in luck, because registrations are open until February 28th at 20.00.
If you are one of those who do not give up, who seek new challenges every day, who enjoy achieving goals; one of those who love nature and prefer to get up early on Sunday to go running instead of going out all Saturday night … this is your race!
