If you have decided to organize an event of any kind (wedding, special celebration, kick off, course …) you should know that Formentera is the perfect place. An event in paradise always triumphs.

• Formentera is easily accessible since the airport of Ibiza (neighboring island) is well connected with many countries. Once you arrive in Ibiza it is as easy as taking a ferry from the port directly to Formentera, you have several companies and various schedules to choose from, and it’s a short trip – from 30 to 45 minutes.
• Holding an event on the island will have a unique charm, no one will want to miss the experience and there will be a greater influx of guests and / or participants.

Some things to bear in mind if you organize an event in Formentera

The venue setup is done, the event will be beautiful anyhow, at the beach, a restaurant with views or with the sunset as backdrop.

Organizing an event in Formentera from a distance is obviously more complex, so we recommend contacting with local professionals in event organization, companies, collaborators or institutions. Nothing can beat their on-site knowledge.

You should come to the island in advance to do a in-person inspection, and choose the definite venue, meet up with companies, collaborators or suppliers. Ideally you should be able to do that at least 6 months before, so you can be sure everything goes well and runs smoothly without any last-minute unforeseen problems. And be careful, if it is an off-season time, not mid-summer months, you might find it more difficult to meet with companies, visit locations or close bookings and reservations (they might be closed).

You will have to pre-book accommodations and restaurants for all attendees and participants, (since depending on the time of year you organize the event, many establishments will be closed in winter or with full reservations if it is in summer).
